Hi, I’m Christian—the photographer behind CB Snapshots.

I picked up a camera out of curiosity, and birds are what stuck. There's something about the patience it takes — waiting for one to finally turn its head or take off — that I still enjoy. Between that, some night sky shots, and photos from wherever I happen to be traveling, that's most of what you'll find here. It comes in bursts rather than being a daily habit, but it's something I keep coming back to.

The galleries are a mix of older and newer work. The blog is where I write about specific sightings, places I've been, and whatever else is on my mind about a shot.
